The repository does not identify the Velo.Route operating legal entity, governing law, commercial terms, or public legal contact. Those details must be confirmed before these terms are published for production use.
1. Agreement and the role of the platform
These Terms govern access to Velo.Route, a software platform for managing and viewing transport operations. By using the platform, you agree to use it in line with these Terms and any applicable agreement with the business or transport provider that gave you access.
Velo.Route provides software for transport information, workflow, and visibility. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, Velo.Route does not itself operate every vehicle, employ every driver, arrange every journey, or provide the underlying transport service.
2. Accounts and access
Access may be provided for client businesses, transport providers, business managers, transport managers, drivers, and passengers. Provide accurate account information, keep it current, and use only the access assigned to you.
Organisations that create or administer accounts are responsible for inviting users appropriately, assigning roles carefully, and removing access when it is no longer needed. Do not share account credentials or use another person's account.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use Velo.Route to:
- upload information you are not authorised to provide;
- access trip, passenger, driver, business, or provider data outside your assigned role or organisation relationship;
- interfere with the platform, attempt to bypass access controls, or probe the service for vulnerabilities;
- submit false trip, location, stop, vehicle, or account information; or
- use the service in a way that is unlawful, unsafe, or harmful to other people or transport operations.
4. Operational responsibilities
Client businesses and transport providers remain responsible for their own transport arrangements, passenger communications, drivers, vehicles, routes, safety procedures, and compliance obligations. Drivers remain responsible for operating vehicles safely and following the instructions, policies, and applicable rules that govern their work.
Users must ensure that information entered into Velo.Route, including passenger details, addresses, driver details, vehicle details, and trip records, is accurate and that they have the authority to use it. Velo.Route is not a substitute for a transport provider's operational judgement or safety controls.
5. Live information and service availability
Velo.Route can show active driver location, route status, trip events, pickup and drop-off records, and estimated information derived from the available data. These features depend on device permissions, GPS signals, mapping information, connectivity, data quality, and user action.
Velo.Route does not guarantee an exact ETA, uninterrupted location updates, uninterrupted connectivity, transport safety, vehicle availability, driver performance, or the completion of a transport service. Users should apply appropriate operational checks and safety procedures outside the software.
6. Account security
Keep account credentials confidential and notify your organisation administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law and any agreement with your organisation.
7. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or removed when it is no longer authorised, when an account is inactive, when there is a security concern, or when these Terms or an applicable organisational agreement are breached. Organisations should manage account access for their people as roles and assignments change.
8. Intellectual property
Velo.Route, its software, interface, and underlying materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the platform to a user or organisation. Organisations and users retain responsibility for the information they provide, subject to the permissions needed to operate the service.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Velo.Route is provided on an available basis. The platform's information may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and should not be treated as a guarantee of a real-world transport outcome.
Any service levels, commercial remedies, indemnities, liability limits, and other terms for an organisation should be set out in the applicable written commercial agreement. These public draft terms do not replace such an agreement or any protections that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Changes and contact
Velo.Route may change the service and update these Terms as the product develops. A revised version should display a new effective date on this page. Continued use after an update may be subject to the updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.
Use the designated administrator of the relevant business or transport provider for account and operational questions. Before public launch, add the Velo.Route legal entity details, governing law, and a verified legal contact method here.
